Position Overview

The Task Order (TO) Program Manager is the manager and point of contact (POC) for their respective task order. The TO PM manages task order projects, tasks, risks and dependencies. The TO PM reports directly to the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) PM.

Responsibilities

The TO PM will:

  • Lead team on their respective task order projects or significant segment of large complex projects.
  • Analyze new and complex task order related problems and creates innovative solutions involving technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
  • Prepare long and short-range plans for execution of A&A program requirements, to include interfacing with stakeholders, other IT and cybersecurity practitioners, and key client leadership.
  • Oversee all aspects of task order.
  • Provide overall direction to task order staff.
  • Maintain and manage interface between task order staff and client system owners, stake holders and other senior officials.
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items and ensure conformance with program task schedules.
  • Report directly to the BPA PM so the BPA PM can brief Agency senior staff, executive staff, and federal oversight committees.
  • Track and report status of all task order deliverables to the BPA PM.
  • Establish goals and work plans that meet task order objectives.
  • Direct and control staff to ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Have or develop a domain knowledge of A&A and be able to make decisions that may have a critical impact on task order deliverables.
  • Report to the BPA PM the task order performance results and recommend changes affecting short-term task order growth and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or another scientific or technical discipline.
  • 15 years of relevant experience
  • Professional cybersecurity certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, Sec+, CCNP, GCIH, GCED, or CASP+)
  • CISSP or CAP is desired
  • Ability to obtain a Secret (or above) National Security Clearance
