Position Overview

Contingent upon contract award, Avint requires a Cybersecurity Reporting Lead to manage a team in support of providing a FISMA metrics program supporting the Department of Homeland Security.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Reporting lead provides technical knowledge and guidance in all areas of the development of FISMA and cybersecurity risk metrics reporting. As Team Lead they will analyze, plan, and report on all issues to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Prepares and delivers presentations as required.

The Cybersecurity Reporting Lead will be responsible for:

  • Updating Information Security Performance Plans (ISPP).
  • Developing metrics and recommending improvements for tracking progress on remediation of information security weaknesses.
  • Developing reports and executive summaries, talking points, and briefing slides suitable for a C-Suite audience.
  • Developing cybersecurity status reports by coordinating , consolidating, and collecting data from multiple sources.

Oversee technical teams that create and maintain dashboards and analytics utilizing Splunk, Crystal Reports, PowerBi. Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Data Visualizer, and Oracle Visual Analyzer.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Current DHS Suitability or ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a technical discipline OR equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of progressive demonstrated experience in Information Assurance/Information Security, with a good working knowledge of both DoD and Federal Government Information Assurance / Security policies and procedures
  • Experience with information security related projects and be knowledgeable with the NIST Risk Management framework and FISMA.
  • Current professional cyber security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, SEC +, CCNP, GCIH, GCED or CASP+)
